Howdy y'all, this be a site where I upload a whole bunch of junk that I like. I can draw whatever you want, whenever you want (when I get a round tuit - ha ha, inside joke). Some stuff I like includes dragons (obviously), manga, anime, Japan, good books, life not-so-much, drawing to music, drawing, music, not drawing hands nor feet and some other stuff.
Anyway, I'm cool. I'm awesome. I am totally not going to kill you for not commenting...

As with my manga book, I decided I would draw a title page for my dragon book. In this case, instead of lettering with a character of mine, the title was to be a tribal tattoo. Many people hate tribal designs but I simply adore them. How they make a picture using only polygons. Amazing! Anyway, I’ve drawn this dragon a couple of times (on my shirt) and I thought to myself how good it would look on paper. Enjoy!
First of all, this was a request by Ellie-m-n-o-p. Second of all, I made up the name (meaning I didn’t base him off a real character). Thirdly…
I am quite proud of this one. I used next to nothing for references. I think the only referencing I did was the clothing (what detectives wear) as I haven’t (sadly) seen many detective shows :'(. There isn’t much to say but enjoy!
Though I am still waiting for my story edit – hint, hint Ellie…
My friend cathcasidk requested that I do this particular drawing. So, while I was at the farm I took it upon myself to do just that.
It all started in Science class…
I was doodling in my science book in science as I had already read ahead and was bored out of my skull. And so I doodled and doodled and doodled until cathcasidk looked over my shoulder and saw my epic drawing skills. She then started to draw in her diary and then tapped my shoulder repetitively. With one last look from my amazing drawing of a disconfigured dog, I looked up to see what my friend wanted.
(cathcasidk) :Teacher’s coming
(la moi): *nods vacantly* Uh huh
(teacher): …And the speed of light is very fast, unlike ‘s brain… (she says while bonking my head with a rather heavy textbook)
: *momentarily looks up, then back to drawing, then again back to teacher* Oh
: Yeah
And so I continued to draw in my book, having not learned my lesson from the teacher. cathcasidk continuously poked my shoulder. I continuously poked her shoulder back.
: What? : Draw this *thrusts a picture of a girl with her back to me holding up her dress, that she drew*
: I, uh, okay?
: Good
: Good?
*Bell rings*
Travel two weeks into the future
Ima gonna draw this thing!
Travel about 2 hours
Done! Now to wait for the end of the week so I can scan, plus a few days for me to actually get around to wring this post
Travel to now
Yay! Done!
NOTE: This is not in any way an exact recount. I just made up the jist of it to make it sound good. I also forgot what actually happened as that was the second last week of school and I don’t tend to remember boring, unnecessary things like that just so I can write about it.
And let’s be clear, I actually do pay attention in class and my teacher isn’t nearly as bad as that. It was all for the story. The only thing that was true was the request (and not even in that way).
First off, I. Hate. Hands.
Secondly, if you’d so kindly look to the top right corner, you will see a line of text in bold red as I’ve done so here. This is how long I took to finish the current post picture. As everyone kept asking “How long did it take to draw?”, “How long does it take to colour?” and “How come you’re so amazingly awesome in general”, I have taken the courtesy of putting it right here on my blog. Yay. Hope you’re happy, because now I’m going to have to keep track of how long it does indeed take to finish a stupid picture. Still, might be interesting. Though don’t expect this to appear on my old posts because I have better things to do than remembering how long it took to draw a cartoon. Which reminds me…
Anyway, back to the topic. So, cowgirl huh? “Why?” you ask (or probably not and just accepted it because that’s the kind of person you are). Well, I felt like drawing it. And I also really like country clothes (though I can’t draw them). And because I was due another picture. And because I wanted (needed) to do something different.
Hey, I’ve noticed something, these posts keep getting longer and longer. Is that a good thing? Should I now just shut my cakehole and post the not-so-long-awaited pictures and just be done with it? I have no idea, but it probably won’t happen anyway 😛
What do I usually write about? Random garbage like this? I honestly can’t remember. Here, have a picture of a cute puppy:
Aww… Isn’t it so cute. Not mine though…
I’m tired. Enjoy the girl (who I hope isn’t too slutty) below. Dem boots though.
Today’s update features my very first gijinka. Exciting, isn’t it? It was inspired by Smizzley’s black and white pigs, ‘Monokuro Boo’, which are a merchandise (much like Hello Kitty). I felt as if I wanted to expand my horizons and decided that this would definitely be on the right track. So, without further ado, Monokuro Boo! Hold on! Wait a moment! I didn’t explain what the hell ‘Gijinka’ is, now did I? Well, you’ve probably already looked it up. Ah, well. I’ll explain it anyway since I have nothing better to do…
Gijinka (擬人化; western term “humanisation” and pronounced gee-jin-ka) is the Japanese meaning of “humanoid”, “personification”, or “anthropomorphic”. Rather than referring to just any animal with human characteristics, a gijinka is most often a fan re-design of an animal-like character in a human or humanoid form. The characters often seem to wear a cosplay of the base character rather than having real animal features, which can also be found back in real life cosplay of those characters.
Some examples:
I think I’ll make a page on gijinka. That sounded so good because I so did not copy someone else’s explanation…
Interesting Fact: ‘Monokuro Boo’ was not originally called that. It was at first “Monotone,” with “mono” coming from “monochrome” and “ton,” a word for pig. This was the pun that originally inspired the designer to create black and white pig characters. The name “Monokuro Boo” is also a derivation of the words “Monokuro” (“Monochrome”) and “Boo” (the Japanese onomatopoeic equivalent for “oink”).
Oh, and one more thing, if you don’t know what ‘cosplay’ is, here is the definition for your convenience: Cosplay (コスプレkosupure), short for costume play, is a hobby in which people dress up in costumes and fashion accessories as characters from (most commonly) manga, anime, comic books, video games, and films.
Some examples:
Anyway, so now you know what gijinka and cosplay is, as well as the origins of Monokuro Boo. You must be so happy to have learned quite a lot. Now, go enjoy this lovely picture of pig-people and think “Wow. Isn’t Chell just the best at gijinka?”
Note: None of the examples are mine… I wish they were
Because I won’t be available for the next few days, I thought I’d give you the next manga drawing in line.
This one is a bit different form the others, as it’s all about one person and drawn with various expressions. I stuck with Toshiki (to get to know him a bit better) and this is how it turned out. I’m not really satisfied with the result but for a first time, I thought it was pretty good. My faves are ‘cheerful’, ‘regret’ and ‘concern’, oh, and ‘anger’. Tell me what you think (or don’t, I really don’t care, except I do, kinda) but most importantly, enjoy. That is all.
I asked my bro (Nessie) if it was possible to add a ‘like’ button (from popular demand, not me being all egotistical) and he said “Yes,it is possible” and so in the next few days, Nerstor will be working on a ‘like’ button for you all. How lovely. But in the meantime, you call all look in wonder at my most recent(after this) post: The Sexy Witch Girl.
Now what you have all been waiting for: The witch girl! YAY! I finished colouring it ages ago but I didn’t want to post everything together (like I did with everything else before I deleted them and reposted).
So, ranting time. Um, well, when I asked what someone wanted me to draw (as I ran out of ideas) Keira suggested a witch, to which Cass upgraded into a ‘sexy’ witch, whatever that’s supposed to look like, because all witches are obviously super sexy. Being the copy cat of everyone else’s work (whether of the internet of my manga book) I looked up ‘sexy witch manga’ (not really, the results would probably be very inappropriate) and ventured into the unknown world of Google by looking up anything with the word ‘witch’ and ‘anime’ or ‘manga’. I had a few interesting results such as:
I suppose the last one made a bit of sense, seeing as (I assume) is a witch hunter, but the first one? I think it’s some site called ‘Witch and Wizard’, or maybe it’s some manga. Well that makes some more sense.
Anyhow, after my extensive research I came across a few pictures I liked a lot (but I’m not going to show you because you’ll realise how bad my picture is compared to them 😛 ). I am proud to say that this latest picture is the most altered and original drawing (in manga) I have done! Three cheers for Chell!
I’m probably boring you now and you just want to see the picture (but I bet you skipped straight ahead to that) and for me to stop procrastinating. Well, without further (oh, and Cass said it looked sexy. I think she needs to look up what the meaning of that word is, unless she actually thinks everything is, then we need to get her looked at) ado, ‘The ‘Sexy’ Witch Girl’!
Because I haven’t updated for a while (and because I’m so nice), here’s another post.
Aren’t archers so cool? And aren’t foxes so cute (or should I say Kawaii)? I went for the ‘wild’ (stated by title above) look because, yeah. I felt like it. The girl’s eyes are supposed to look like that and all of those whiskers. Again, the pose was copied off my book (hey, I’m still learning) and the hair was not my invention? Is that right? Anyway, the clothes were originated off the original picture (surprise, surprise) but I made a few alterations such as lowering the dress and changed the sword into a bow and arrow, with a quiver on her leg. Naruto inspiration for the win (or just Naruto FTW)!
I also like foxes and so practically ripped off Nintendo for their design of a fox (Vulpix) with a few alterations (did you expect anything less?).
Wowee. That’s a lot of parentheses in one post. FYI (for your information), the girl is Yuki and her fox is Miyu.
Today’s post is not very exciting but is good nonetheless! Please enjoy.
DISCLAIMER: I hate coffee >p
So today we have, what seems to be a boy (around 18), enjoying his nice, hot steamy cup of coffee. Now look closer. What you will find is that it’s actually tea. I know, anticlimax. The thing was though that I was (yet again) basing the below picture off another picture and that one had coffee. The problem was that I didn’t have the colours and that I thought that would be too much black >P. Soooo, I changed it to ochiya (‘green tea’ in Japanese. You learn something everyday). Though I guess it doesn’t look much like green tea, more like pee. Great. I made a guy drink wee. Aren’t I nice?
